Moorhead Man Pleads Guilty To Selling Heroin That Led To Overdoses
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A man accused of distributing a heroin substance in the Fargo area that led to two overdoses in April has pleaded guilty.
Gregory Krutsinger, of Moorhead, Minnesota, is charged in federal court with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance resulting in serious bodily injury. The charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.
An affidavit says Krutsinger is responsible for distributing drugs that are "harming people and even causing death."
Law enforcement officials and other community members have been conducting public forums over the summer warning people about the increase in opioid overdoses and deaths.
Sentencing for Krutsinger is set for Oct. 4.
