Money Bags Stolen From St. Cloud Cathedral Safe
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- St. Cloud police say they have no suspects in the theft of a week's worth of donations from St. Mary's Cathedral.
Church workers say someone got into the office on Sunday and got into the church safe.
Five bank bags containing the week's deposits from donations to the church were stolen from the safe.
Police say both the church office and the safe were believed to be locked but neither showed any signs of forced entry.
Any parishioners who donated to St. Mary's Cathedral with a check last week should cancel their check and notify their bank.
