MnDOT: I-35E Down To Single-Lane Traffic
MIINEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Drivers in the north metro should be ready to see hundreds of orange barrels starting Saturday night.
MnDOT crews closed two lanes of I-35E in Anoka County at around 5 p.m. MnDOT warns of increased traffic congestion between White Bear Lake and Forest Lake.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction on the interstate as crews install a temporary culvert to carry Clearwater Creek beneath the road. The temporary culvert is needed to carry water during the replacement of the culvert currently in use.
MnDOT plans to have two lanes in each direction open on the road Friday, if weather permits.
