Mississippi River Clean Up Project Starts Wednesday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A bunch of Minnesotans will kick off a big cleaning project Wednesday on the Mississippi River.

It's the start of the 2012 Great Mississippi River Clean-up. People will gather along the Mississippi from Red Wing to LaCrosse to pick up trash.

Cleanup efforts continue all summer, at 20 other cities all the way down to St. Louis, Mo. Watch the video report above for more complete information.
