Missing Woman Called Police Before Abduction
VIRGINIA, Minn. (AP) -- A missing Minnesota woman repeatedly called police in the hours before she disappeared to tell them her estranged husband had violated a restraining order.
Police in Virginia say they warned Timothy Caskey to stay away from his wife after he called her several times July 14. Caskey had just been released from prison after serving a sentence for violating a no contact order involving his estranged wife, Roberta.
The couple remains missing and Timothy Caskey is facing federal kidnapping charges. An FBI affidavit says witnesses saw Caskey grab his wife and throw her into a pickup truck. She struggled while two people tried to intervene, but Caskey fought them off and fled with his wife.
Minnesota Public Radio News says the FBI has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to Timothy Caskey's arrest.
