Missing MN Woman Returns Safely To Truck Stop
HOT SPRINGS, S.D. (AP) — Authorities are investigating abduction claims by a Minnesota woman who went missing from a western South Dakota truck stop and then returned a day later.
Fifty-eight-year-old Constance Beyer of Hancock, Minn., was taken to a Rapid City hospital to be treated for dehydration after returning to the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop near Hot Springs Monday. She had gone missing Sunday after stopping at the business with her husband, prompting a search by about 30 people and two dogs.
Fall River County Sheriff Rich Mraz says he's looking into Beyer's account of being abducted, robbed of $20 and dumped into a ravine.
