Minutes Taking Their Toll For Kevin Love
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — All those minutes on the court finally seem to be catching up to Kevin Love.
The Minnesota Timberwolves' All-Star leads the NBA in minutes played this season. After another 43 of them in a loss to Golden State on Wednesday night, Love admitted that he's starting feel the toll.
Love still scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the game. But he went 0 for 7 from 3-point range, including one at the buzzer that could have sent it into overtime.
The Timberwolves have lost four straight and have seen four of their top five players miss time with injuries in the last month. That puts most of the scoring responsibility on Love. He says "it's tough to play Superman every night."
