Mechanical Engineering Building At University Of Minnesota Reopens After 'Minor Fire'
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The mechanical engineering building at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus has reopened following a minor fire that caused it to close Monday morning.
University officials say the the building, located on Church Street, was evacuated while crews knocked flames down.
On social media, people posted images of the scene, showing several emergency vehicles on campus. One person noted the quick response of firefighters.
