Minnetonka Officer Hit In Early Morning Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnetonka Police officer collided with another vehicle while on the way to a call early Saturday morning.
The officer was headed south on Hopkins Crossroad and was making a left turn east to Highway 7 at about midnight, according to police.
That's when a northbound vehicle plowed into the squad car, knocking it on its side.
The officer is alright, but the driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating this incident.
