ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- There's a sobering prediction about Minnesota's jobless rate if there's a state government shutdown on July 1.
Hamline University professor David Schultz has analyzed the employment implications of a government shutdown.
He said if all 38,000 state employees who received notices are laid off, the state's jobless rate would jump from 6.6 percent to 7.8 percent.
