MINNEAPOLIS — Outside of a stray shower on Friday, the metro will enjoy a mix of sun and clouds. A northerly breeze will make it feel like fall with highs only in the upper 60s.

For the first time this season, a frost advisory is in effect on Friday night until 8 a.m. Saturday, primarily for the Arrowhead and northern Wisconsin.

Temperatures for Friday night's high school football games, and Saturday's Gophers game, will be in the low 60s.

High pressure continues to build in for the weekend, keeping things dry, quiet and comfy.

Saturday morning will start in the upper 40s, something the metro hasn't seen since May 25, before warming to near 70 by the afternoon.

Temps continue to rebound reaching the upper 70s Sunday and 80s next week, with no good rain chances in sight.
