Patchy showers Thursday, Friday in Twin Cities ahead of pleasant weekend
MINNEAPOLIS — After a few dry hours on Thursday morning, spotty showers and storms return later in the day.
With a mostly cloudy sky, temperatures won't warm as much with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s.
Another .25-.50 inch of rain is possible, with most likely across eastern Minnesota. The low-pressure system will linger well into Friday.
Everything looks to wrap up by Saturday morning with high pressure back in time for the weekend.
Expect sunshine on both days with seasonable highs back up near 80.
The next rainmaker looks to hold until late Tuesday into Wednesday of next week.
