Minnesota Twins Announce Home Opener Is Sold Out
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you don't have a ticket yet for the Minnesota Twins home opener on April 13, you're probably out of luck.
Twins officials said Thursday that tickets for the 3:10 p.m. game at Target Field are sold out. Even if you don't have a ticket, fans are encouraged to participate in pregame festivities.
There will be free Breakfast on the Plaza from 6 to 9 a.m. as fans are invited to drive down 7th Street and get a complimentary ballpark breakfast. Free food and beverages will also be available too bicyclists and pedestrians on the 7th Street side of Target Plaza.
DJ Mad Mardigan will also perform from noon to 2:15 p.m. on the balcony overlooking Target Plaza. At the same time, there will be live music at the Target Field Station.
Kevin Garnett will throw the ceremonial first pitch, and Torii Hunter will be catching it.
