Minnesota Sends Crews, Personnel To Support East Coast
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Some Minnesotans have been sent to help support sections of the East Coast as it struggles with Sandy, which was recently downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone.
On Friday, two Minnesotans with an incident management team were sent to Massachusetts to provide logistical support, resources and intelligence, officials said. A 20-person Minnesota Incident Command System saw crew was also sent to Massachusetts that day.
On Sunday, the Minnesota Incident Command System sent an incident management team to Albany, New York. The team's personnel included people from the Minnesota DNR and the US Forest Service.
