Minnesota Man Attempts To Break Bell-Ringing Record
ALBERT LEA, Minn. (WCCO) -- Tuesday is the day for a Minnesota man who has set his sights on a world record with a holiday twist.
Jim Brickson, captain of the Albert Lea Salvation Army, plans to be bell-ringing for no less than 80 consecutive hours at the Northbridge Mall in Albert Lea.
During the world record attempt, Brickson will not be allowed to sit, eat or drink.
He will, however, be allowed one five-minute break every hour.
Brickson also hopes to make about $300 an hour, aiming for a goal of at least $25,000 total.
Brickson's attempt will be streamed live.
