Minnesota Deer, Wolf Lottery Deadline Approaching
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters of the deadline for applying for an antlerless deer permit, special hunts or a wolf hunting or trapping license.
The deadline is midnight Thursday.
Lottery applications for deer and wolf can be made in person at any DNR license agent, on the DNR website or by phone at 1-888-665-4236.
Hunters can apply for lottery deer areas using both their firearm and muzzleloader licenses. A hunter can be selected for both licenses, but successful applicants can only take one deer in a lottery area.
In lottery deer areas, firearms and muzzleloader hunters may only harvest a buck unless they apply for and receive an either-sex permit.
