Youth Minister Sentenced For Criminal Sexual Conduct
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 54-year-old youth ministry director from Cambridge, Minn., was sentenced Friday to 36 months in prison for sexually assaulting a ministry member.
Mark Holm was an area director for Young Life, a non-denominational Christian ministry that reaches out to adolescents. An Isanti County judge sentenced Holm for third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Holm's sentence was stayed for 10 years, as long as he abides by conditions and stays out of trouble. He must spend 11 months in jail, although he gets credit for time served. Holm must also complete sex offender treatment.
Police arrested Holm on Oct. 26, after obtaining evidence of a possible sexual assault.
