Minn.'s Dayton Sets Out On 10-Day European Mission
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is embarking this week on his latest overseas trade trip with stops planned in Germany, Sweden and Norway.
Dayton will be gone this Wednesday through Friday of the following week. The delegation of 35 people from the public and private sectors has meetings planned with counterparts in the three countries that are key export markets for Minnesota.
Germany, for instance, is Minnesota's fifth-largest export destination.
The private business representatives in Dayton's delegation, including his two sons, are paying their own way.
It will be the Democratic governor's third official trip overseas after a 2011 mission to South Korea and Japan and a 2012 trip to China.
