Minn. RollerGirls Host Naptown In Season Finale
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota RollerGirls All-Stars aim to finish the season undefeated when they host the Naptown Roller Girls Tornado Sirens from Indianapolis on Saturday.
The All-Stars are undefeated in 2011 after beating their regional rivals from Madison, Wis., as well as teams from Tucson, Ariz., and Washington, D.C.
Minnesota is ranked second in the North Central region while Naptown is in sixth place.
The second bout of the night will feature the rest of the RollerGirls in a tribute to musicians Prince and Har Mar Superstar. Veteran skaters will wear Prince's purple while newer skaters will wear the white and gold of Har Mar Superstar.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. The first bout starts at 7:30 p.m.
