Minn. Officials Arrest Men Wanted In Ohio Murder
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) -- A fugitive task force in Minnesota has arrested two cousins wanted for murder in Ohio.
Authorities say the two men were arrested Wednesday in Brooklyn Park by deputies from the U.S. Marshals Service Northstar Fugitive Task Force.
The men are wanted by the Springfield, Ohio, police in connection with a Dec. 5 murder. Authorities say that early that morning, the men went to a house to meet friends but there was an argument and both men pulled out guns and began shooting. One person was killed and another was wounded.
The men were at large until authorities learned they might be staying with relatives. The men were arrested without incident and are in custody in Hennepin County pending extradition to Ohio.
