Minn. Man Gets 40 Years For '07 Stabbing Death
VIRGINIA, Minn. (AP) -- A Two Harbors man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to stabbing a 20-year-old woman to death in the Eveleth business where she worked.
The Duluth News Tribune reports 32-year-old Jesaiah Lee Carlson remained quiet Wednesday when the judge asked him if he had anything to say.
Carlson pleaded guilty in March to second-degree murder in the 2007 stabbing death of Megan Ashley Anderson.
Anderson was working alone at a sign store when she was stabbed 29 times. Carlson was selling cutting boards and children's books in the area at the time.
