Minn. Man Arrested After Assault On Bus
SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (AP) -- A central Minnesota man is in jail after a fight broke out on a bus transporting people from a bar.
The 32-year-old Sauk Centre man was arrested after the incident early Sunday on Interstate 94 just east of Sauk Centre.
Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says a bus was bringing people back from a bar in New Munich when a fight broke out between two men. One man pulled out a switchblade.
The sheriff says another man disarmed the man with the knife and his hand was cut.
The bus driver stopped at a gas station and made the man with the knife get off. The St. Cloud Times reports authorities found him walking.
The suspect and other passengers were treated for injuries suffered in the fight.
