Minn. Gym Teacher Acquitted On Sexual Conduct Charges
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 37-year-old Rockford man has been acquitted on charges that he allegedly inappropriately touched three female gymnastics students.
Gergely Deli was the gymnastics instructor at Plymouth gymnastic academy when he was accused of slipping his hands under the clothing of a girl on four occasions when he was spotting her during handstands. Two other girls also claimed they were inappropriately touched.
Deli said that carpal tunnel syndrome was the cause of his misplaced hand.
Deli was acquitted on all three second-degree criminal sexual conduct charges.
