Minn. Duluth, St. Cloud St. Tie 3-3
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — St. Cloud State blew a two-goal lead and rallied to earn a 3-3 Western Collegiate Hockey Association tie with Minnesota Duluth on Saturday.
Jarrod Rabey scored late in the second period to tie the game at 3-3.
St. Cloud State's Mike Lee had eight of his 28 saves in the third period and six in overtime. UMD's Kenny Reiter made 18 stops, four in the third period and one in OT.
The Huskies (15-16-5, 12-12-4) had taken a 2-0 lead on a pair of Ben Hanowski goals in the first period. But the Bulldogs (22-8-6, 17-6-5) tied it on goals by Caleb Herbert and J.T. Brown.
