Minn. Duluth Beats Minn. St., Mankato 3-2 In 2OT

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Mike Seidel scored the game-winning goal 4:07 into the second overtime as Minnesota Duluth beat Minnesota State, Mankato 3-2 Saturday to sweep their Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoff series.

The Bulldogs (24-8-6) put 59 shots on MSUM goalie Austin Lee, who made 15 saves in the first overtime and three in the second. He finished with 56 saves.

David Grun and J.T. Brown scored for UMD. Brown's goal at 6:59 of the third was the tying goal.

Kenny Reiter had 47 saves for UMD.

Matt Leitner and Tyler Elbrecht netted goals for the Mavericks (12-24-2).

Minnesota Duluth won the opener 4-2 on Friday.
