Minn. Duluth Beats Bemidji St. 1-0

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Jack Connolly scored the game's only goal and Minnesota Duluth goalie Kenny Reiter made 23 saves as the Bulldogs shut out Bemidji State 1-0 Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Connolly played a key role in the Bulldogs' sweep. He scored the game-winner Saturday on the power play at 11:21 of the third period. On Friday, he had a goal and two assists in UMD's 6-2 win.

Minnesota Duluth (4-3-1, 2-2-0) outshot the Beavers 28-23. Reiter faced just four shots in the third period.

Bemidji State goalie Dan Bakala finished with 27 saves, including a game-high 13 in the second period.
