Mike Max Talks Football With Adrian Peterson
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – With the NFL lockout offer, players from the Minnesota Vikings and other teams across the league started reporting to team facilities on Tuesday.
Signings for rookies and undrafted free agents also got underway Tuesday, as did speculation for which free agents will stay with their teams and which are headed elsewhere.
Mike Max interviewed Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson on WCCO 830 Radio Tuesday night. Among the topics of discussion were his thoughts on the NFL lockout coming to an end, the possibility of his contract getting restructured and coming to training camp in shape, especially with the lockout forcing players to work out on their own away from team facilities.
Peterson's contract expires at the end of next season and the Vikings need to start early on planning how to bring back one of the league's top rushers.
