Mike Hatch's Daughter Found Dead In Chicago
ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- The daughter of former Minnesota Attorney General Mike Hatch has been found dead in downtown Chicago.
Chicago Police said they found the body of 27-year-old Anne Hatch at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in her apartment after a building employee was conducting a well-being check.
On Monday afternoon, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office reported that the cause of death was suicide by asphyxiation.
The Hatch Family released the below statement:
"Our daughter, Anne, died unexpectedly yesterday in Chicago. This is a sad and painful time for our family. Nothing in life can prepare you for the loss of a child. We are grateful for the outpouring of support and compassion we have received from so many people. We ask that our family's privacy be respected at this very difficult time."
