Michelle Obama To Visit Appleton Friday
APPLETON, Wis. (AP) — More details are emerging about Michelle Obama's return trip to Wisconsin this week.
The Obama campaign say the first lady will speak to grassroots supporters at Lawrence University in Appleton Friday.
Mrs. Obama will encourage Wisconsin residents to help organize their communities between now and the Nov. 6 election. She also will promote voter registration and voting through the Own Your Vote initiative.
The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are required due to limited space and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting Tuesday.
The visit will mark Mrs. Obama's second trip to Wisconsin in four weeks. She was in the Milwaukee area in August to offer condolences to the families of Sikh (seek) worshippers killed or injured by a gunman at their temple.
