Metro Transit Union To Vote On New Contract Sunday
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A vote this weekend could avert a strike by bus drivers during the Super Bowl.
Union leaders urge Metro Transit drivers and other employees to approve a new contract.
The deal offers workers raises and safety barriers on some buses.
Drivers have threatened to strike when the Super Bowl comes to Minneapolis in February.
Union members are expected to vote Sunday, with a final count Monday night.
