Memorial Fund Set Up For Slain Shakopee Student
SHAKOPEE, Minn. (AP) — The family of a slain Shakopee High School student has set up a memorial fund in his honor.
Nineteen-year-old Marcos Antino Pantaleon was shot to death at a Shakopee apartment Thursday night. Pantaleon's 22-year-old brother and 17-year-old male cousin were wounded.
Donations to the Marcos Memorial Fund can be made at any Wells Fargo bank.
Pantaleon was a senior at Shakopee High School.
Superintendent Rod Thompson says everyone in the school district and especially the high school is "deeply saddened."
Support staff is available at the high school to help any staff members or students.
