Mega Millions Jackpot Grows To $586 Million
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Haven't finished your holiday shopping? Perhaps you should buy your relatives a lottery ticket.
No one had the winning ticket, matching all six numbers, for Friday's Mega Millions jackpot drawing so the total continues to grow.
Tuesday's jackpot will be $586 million.
Officials expect the amount to jump even more, as people go into a buying frenzy, and it could top the largest Mega Millions jackpot ever claimed.
The largest so far was $656 million back in 2012.
Just to keep things real, though -- the odds of winning are about one in 259 million.
