MDH: Flu Is Widespread In Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Influenza and respiratory illness is now widespread in Minnesota, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
According to MDH, during the week of Dec. 6 indicators showed the flu had spread to be considered widespread across the state.
MDH said since the beginning of flu season there has been 185 hospitalizations and 64 cases of flu outbreaks in schools.
One death of a person under 18 has occurred since the beginning of flu season this year.
