McDonald's Returns To MSP Airport
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- They're lovin' it -- the "they," in this case, being the travelers who demanded the return of McDonald's to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
It may not sound like a big deal to some, but others say it's been a super-sized issue.
A number of them contacted the Metropolitan Airports Commission when the old McDonald's shut down.
"It's one of the most requested restaurants that we've had since McDonald's closed their doors on Concourse G a couple of years ago," said airport spokesman Pat Hogan.
Hogan says the new McDonald's is under construction near the entrance to Concourse D and will open in October.
