Maplewood School Locked Down
MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (WCCO) -- An elementary school in Maplewood, Minn. was locked down Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, the lockdown at Carver Elementary School began after a relative of one of the students began acting erratically and attempting to remove the student from school.
Police received indication that the relative may have access to a firearm.
Though no issues were reported, the school was placed on lockdown mode, and police officers are on hand as a precautionary measure.
Classes were being held at the school as scheduled.
