Maple Grove Man Dies In Hunting Accident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Maple Grove man died on the opening day of Minnesota's gun deer hunting season.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said 84-year-old Arthur Knafla was trying to start a propane heater in his deer stand south of Hibbing, Minn., Saturday morning when his clothing caught fire.
He fell from the stand and was pronounced dead at the scene.
