Mankato Mayor: Excitement Building for Vikings Camp
MANKATO, Minn. (WCCO) -- Thousands of football fans are expected to visit Mankato in the coming weeks to watch the Minnesota Vikings at training camp.
Mayor Eric Anderson said more than 30,000 visitors are anticipated, and it doesn't hurt that another big name quarterback has joined the team -- Donovan McNabb.
"Here comes a chance for them to see, in person again, one of the stars of the league. So yeah, I think it adds," said Anderson.
