Man Who Died In Mankato Apt. Fire Identified
MANKATO, Minn. (WCCO) -- Officials say the man who died in an apartment fire on Monday was a 21-year-old man.
Ayush Battarai, of Mankato, died of carbon monoxide poisoning due to smoke inhalation at an apartment complex on Balcerzak Drive, according to the autopsy.
The manner of death remains under investigation.
The fire was determined to have been set intentionally and no foul play is suspected.
The Mankato Department of Public Safety will continue to investigate.
