Man Stabbed After Fight In St. Cloud
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 19-year-old man is in the hospital after being stabbed Saturday morning in St. Cloud after an altercation.
Authorities in St. Cloud were called to the 1400 block of 6th Ave. S. at about 6 a.m. after a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, officers found the 19-year-old victim in a nearby apartment building. He was transported to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers found the suspect, 24-year-old Hussein Abdi Hire, in the same building where the victim was found.
Police say Hire stabbed the victim in the left arm after an altercation between the two in a parking lot close to where they found the victim. Hire was booked into the Stearns County Jail on second-degree assault charges.
