Man Shot Near Bus Stop In Brooklyn Park
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot near a bus stop in Brooklyn Park early Thursday morning.
Authorities said the shooting happened at about 1 a.m. near the 6400 block of Zane Avenue North.
A group of friends was walking from the bus stop when they were approached by someone who, authorities say, was on the bus and was involved in a dispute.
One of the people in the group was shot in the leg.
The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police did not offer any description of the shooter. It's not known how many shots were fired.
