Man Shot, Killed In Brooklyn Park ID'd
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The man who was killed in a late August shooting in Brooklyn Park has been identified.
On Aug. 31, both Brooklyn Park police and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Department responded to a call at the 6200 block of Winnetka Avenue at 2 a.m. Saturday.
Witnesses in the home said the victim was involved in an altercation with several other men. Those men took off after the shooting.
On Thursday, that victim has been identified as Daniel Evan Fredenburg, 43, of New Hope. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says he died from multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is homicide.
Police do not yet have anyone in custody and are still investigating the incident.
Brooklyn Park police are still investigating the shooting and so far, no arrests have been made.
