Man Sentenced For Prostituting Minn. Girl In Denver
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A New Jersey man was sentenced to more than eight years in prison on Wednesday in federal court after taking a Minnesota girl to Denver for prostitution.
Floyd Henry, of Newark, was sentenced to 100 months in federal prison for one count of inducing travel to engage in criminal sexual activity.
Henry admitted that in the fall of 2009, he met the victim outside of Cream nightclub in Minneapolis. The next night, Henry arranged for an adult female to drive the victim to Denver while Henry flew there. Henry said he paid for the victim's hotel room, and directed the adult female to take photos of the victim to post on Backpage.com.
Henry admitted he instructed the victim on how to prostitute herself, how much to charge for various sexual acts, and how to identify undercover law enforcement.
