Man Pleads Guilty To Filming Boys Changing At Local YMCAs
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Coon Rapids, Minn. man pleaded guilty this week to stalking a minor with sexual or aggressive intent after he allegedly filmed boys changing clothes at two area YMCAs, according to the Anoka County Attorney's office.
Robert Dennis Minor, 54, was also charged in March 2013 with four counts of possession of pornographic work involving minors and two counts of use of minors in a sexual performance. Minor will be tried on those counts in a forthcoming bench trial.
Investigators found images on Minor's computer of young boys undressing at both the Andover and Coon Rapids YMCA, as well as child pornography which he did not produce.
Minor allegedly used a wrist watch with video and photo capabilities to film the boys.
Just days after Minor was charged for the YMCA incidents, he was arrested by University of Minnesota Police for allegedly filming boys urinating in a bathroom at Mariucci Arena.
Minor's sentencing is set for Sept. 17.
