Man Indicted For Attempting To Buy Child Porn
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 46-year-old Eden Prairie man has been indicted for allegedly planning an order for videos containing child pornography.
James Mackay Parrish has been charged with one count of attempted receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
According to the indictment, Parrish sent $400 through the mail on March 30, for videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
The indictment also states child pornography was also found on Parrish's computer on April 27.
If convicted, Parrish faces a potential maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on the attempted purchase of child pornography and 10 years for the possession charge.
