Man Arrested In Connection With Plymouth Apt. Fire
PLYMOUTH, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 40-year-old man has been arrested after police say he started a fire at The Place Apartments in Plymouth.
Donald Richard Anderson is accused of first-degree arson for the fire that occurred around 4:19 a.m. on Saturday at 3905 Lancaster Lane.
Fire officials responded to the scene where heavy black smoke was coming out of the apartment complex and a few residents were trapped on their balconies.
All residents were safely evacuated from the building.
Anderson was located by the Wisconsin State Patrol and was held in Wisconsin during the investigation. He is currently being held at the Rock County Sheriff's Department with a bail set at $500,000.
