Man Arrested For Assaulting Nurse, Guards At St. Cloud Hospital
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A St. Cloud man faces felony charges after attacking a nurse and two security guards at St. Cloud Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
According to St. Cloud Police, the assaults occurred just before 3 p.m. Joseph Charles Karnik, 24, is facing three felony-assault charges because of his history of violence towards law enforcement.
Karnik is described as a vulnerable adult due to mental instability. He was reported missing in April 2013, but was found safe a few hours later.
He is being held at Stearns County Jail.
