Mo. Man Admits To Having Sex With Minn. Girl, 9
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Missouri man has pleaded guilty to driving a young girl from Virginia Beach to Minnesota and having sex with her.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 42-year-old Robin Lynn Bourgeois, of Blue Springs, Mo., admitted to taking the girl on a car trip during the summer of 2007. At the time, she was 9 years old.
He told her mother that the two would be traveling with his 10-year-old daughter, but she had actually left two weeks ahead of Bourgeois and his victim.
Bourgeois was indicted last February. He made a plea agreement and now faces up to 30 years in prison.
His sentencing has yet to be scheduled.
