Man, 25, Pleads Guilty In 2 Sexual Assaults
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) -- A 25-year-old Bloomington man has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from two separate alleged sexual assaults.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Hennepin County Attorney's Office says 25-year-old Dominique LaMont Darrough reached a plea agreement Thursday.
Darrough pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree criminal sexual conduct and fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct. In exchange, prosecutors agreed to recommend four years in prison.
Darrough was arrested on Christmas Day after police say he molested a woman on a light rail train. A 16-year-old girl also accused him of following her off a bus in South Minneapolis the week before and trying to rape her.
Both victims say he aggressively came after them.
Online court records didn't list a defense attorney Saturday.
