Mama V's Muffaletta On A Stick
Frank Vascellaro and his mother Rosalie head to the kitchen to put together an interesting tailgate party treat -- Muffaletta On A Stick. Check out the recipe below.
Ingredients:
10 slices Genoa Salami
10 slices Provolone Cheese
20 Green Olives
20 Kalamata Olives
20 Pepperoncini Pepper
20 Red peppers
1 bottle Italian Salad dressing
20 wooden skewers
Directions:
Stack salami on top of cheese, roll together and then slice into one inch pieces.
Take skewer and run it through the salami and cheese roll, add olives to skewer along with peppers.
Place all skewers in a shallow bowl and drizzle with Italian, or your favorite olive oil based dressing. Let the sticks marinate in the dressing in the refrigerator for 20-30minutes before serving. You can also substitute other vegetables or add your favorite cubed meat or cheese to the skewer. Be creative, have fun, it's a muffaletta on a stick.
