MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Netflix documentary miniseries "Making a Murderer" racked up four Emmy wins over the weekend.
The show, which focused on a Wisconsin man wrongfully convicted and imprisoned on rape and attempted murder charges and then later convicted of first degree murder, was honored at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremonies.
The show won outstanding nonfiction series, outstanding direction for nonfiction programming (episode: "Fighting for Their Lives"), outstanding writing for nonfiction programming (episode: "Eighteen Years Lost"), and outstanding editing for nonfiction programming (episode: "Indefensible").
